FUN FONDUE FELLOWSHIP- January S.I.S. Meeting

We had such a great time at our January meeting. In spite of sub-zero temps, we had a good number of ladies out, and everyone seemed to enjoy it so much.

We had so much food for "fondue-ing" and it was really fun!

We had several activities in which, of course, we found ourselves both laughing and crying. The most wonderful time was when different ladies gave testimony concerning their Bible reading and devotion time. Several are reading the Bible through this year, and are getting so much out of it. We had several to tell us how the Lord had blessed them and the things He has shown them from His Word. It was such a blessing!

SISTERS IN SERVICE - (S.I.S.) A LADIES MINISTRY OF TABERANCLE BAPTIST CHURCH

Sisters -In-Service is the ladies' ministry of Tabernacle Baptisit Church of Nicholasville, KY. Truly we are "sisters" in the Lord. We have been saved and have become part of the family of God and therefore, we are sisters. Because most of the food events as well as some other events are planned, organized and overseen by this ladies' ministry, we call ourselves "Sisters-In-Service. The ladies are so eager to help in anyway they can and do such a wonderful job. It is such a blessing to the pastor and his wife. The ladies enjoy being with each ofter and fellow-shipping as well as serving together in different areas of the chruch.


Good Bye For Now Phebe:
For the past several year we have used the Phebe Fellowship material created by Pastor Tommy Sexton. It is a wonderful program and we have enjoyed it thoroughly. I would highly recommend it to any local church women's ministry. It is great for teaching women their place in the local church. We probably will use this material again, and may even be called the "Phebe Fellowship" sometimes, but we are going to change things up somewhat in our ladies fellowships at Tabernacle this year, at least.
